“It was a perfect fit,” said Mary Jo Lageson, an employee at James Barton Design Build in Apple Valley, in regard to the donations collected for the Golden Valley Humane Society. “Woof Dah, a Doggy Daycare in Burnsville, became the perfect partner to help collect items for donation to needy animal shelters,” said Mary Jo.
What better place to ask for donations, than a place where animal lovers leave their own pet? Since our dog Casey goes to Woof Dah, approaching the owner Jillian was easy.
"We placed gift tags with items needed on the Christmas tree in the Woof Dah lobby and hoped we would get a few people who would want to donate. The generosity from the Woof Dah customers and staff was tremendous and exceeded our expectations!"
Donations are always needed and appreciated at local animal shelters! JBDB is a drop off site for food donations for Pets for the Homeless and also takes donations for the Animal Humane Society. See a wish list of items needed by the Humane Society.
